Looks great. Only thing is it's really confusing, the first and last panel because you completely cross the axis. Directly, actually. Makes it very difficult to understand who's who.

bryce- i still have a lot to learn about storytelling. i picked up Will Eisner's 'Graphic Storytelling and Visual Narrative'. Is this the Will Eisner book everyone's recommending?

meesimo- i believe december is the launch date. Bastion's 7 will be out in our LowOrbit anthology published by Image Comics.

Indeed I believe it is. As far as I've seen, you've got an amazing head start for someone who doesn't know anything about storytelling. Just keep in mind where your camera is located in the environment, and that it shouldn't go more than 180 degrees around the characters in any given scene in most cases. I hope that made sense.
