Progeny

At this year's San Diego Comicon the project I designed, for Greg Weisman, and Vic Cook, had been announced. It's called Progeny, and we'd like to share it with you all.

The Gathering

Howdy, y'all! Just got back in this morning from Mexico City. Man.... everyone there was very hospitable and so genuinely kind to us. Thank you for the invite Humberto, Francisco, and Jose! Additional special thank yous go out to Leonardo, Roberto, Maria, Ivan, Daniel, Axel, Matt, Jessica, Bef, Luis, Paulina, Bachan, Peter, and to everyone for showing us a great time, and helping us throughout the ANG summitt. And big ups to everyone participating the panels and at the meet and greets. We hope to return to your wonderful city.

I wanna thank everyone here for suggesting the sites to check out, and stating your concerns. We did get nearly a full day to tour around the city on a tour bus. Not nearly enough time, I know. :( Bummer... BUT I did take about 200 photos! I was trigger happy with the camera, so that'll have to hold me over til the next visit. hahaha

Here are some of the cards I had done out of the slew for the MM3 card set.

Hope y'all digs!

Heya, gang! Anyone gonna be down in Mexico City?

I'm leeeeeeeaving ooooooon a jet plaaaane.... tomorrow afternoon to Mexcio City. I am honored to be invited by Humberto Ramos, Jose, Roberto and everyone in charge who arranged for me to speak at the 2008 ANG International Summit with the students. I am really looking forward to visting the University!!

I've never been to Mexico City, so I am SUPER excited. Any suggestions on what to check out while we're down there?

Just a sketch...

....or not. :P

This month I finish my run on Spectacular Spider-Man Animated. 2 seasons flew by really quick. During the time off, until another season gets picked up, I'll be working on my Bastion's 7 property. I have been hungering to cut loose. After picking up books from my peers, and getting tips from my sensei, Jeff Johnson, I think I'm ready to do it up proper.

Sequentials scare the poop outta me. I guess what I fear the most is how to mend people with backgrounds, but I'm ready, willing, and hopefully able. hahaha

anyway, hope y'all digs!

2 - 2 = 0

Remember this dude?

He goes by the name of Zero. He's one of my characters
from my creator owned property called Bastion's 7.

So, I'm thinking I'm gonna make a vinyl figure of this.

Whatcha think?

IIIIII Am Everyday People!!!

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII..... am everyday peopllllle. See I was sittin in the park mindin' my own (my own).

Ahhhh good ol' "Arrested Developement". Man I loved that group.

Welp, gang, here are some takes I drew of some older type folks I took pics of at the Sawdust festival. I rarely draw looking from life, but dang, is it refreshing. People have all kinds of cool shapes don't they? It makes ya wonder what their story is, huh?

In other news, I survived San Diego Comicon! WOWSERS was that a con or what?! Thank you, everbody, who made it out to our booth, and to the Spider-man Animated panel. I hope you liked the sneakpeek into season 2.

I brought 500 books and took home 70. Thank you to everyone who made that happen!!! You should have seen my car pulling into San Diego Wednesday afternoon.
One would have mistaken it to be a lowrider. 17 boxes, some luggage and a dolly on top of the car will do that to ya. HAHAHA

This weekend I will be mailing out more online orders of the book. I am still gathering shipping info for those interested, and I will post them soon, so anyone else may purchase it.

Hope you all made it home safe and sound, and see you all next year at San Diego Comicon 2009!

Hope y'all digs!
