Here's also some very important news that concerns us artists, so please read this if you have the time.

I'm a big fan o'yours. Here from Brazil I follow your art, from long time...Your work is one of my great inspirations for desingworks. This last days, I confess, was quite anxious 'bout how would RHINO look like in your point o'view. And it~s great, the best possible...as Tombstone also is! And I beg to ya...Please post as soon as you can the Green Goblin design, guess it'll be nothing but alsome!

Til'soon!

Beautiful as always. I really hope you post a process one of these days. I'm especially interested in the means by which you color.

Peace,

Hi Cheeks,

Big fan of your character designs on "Spider-Man". I'm a friend of Greg Weisman and Jen Anderson's, and he gave my brother and I a tour of of the studio there a couple of weeks back. Didn't get to meet you because you were busy, so I'm giving you my thumbs up here.

Sean, you just have to love the internets. So many wonderful things can be said out there.

This is inregards to your "copyright comment"...

Also another person putting it in perspective -- http://maradydd.livejournal.com/374886.html

I think Mark Simon is waaaaaaaaay off in left field on this one.

Oh, also, love the drawings. Great stuff, keep it coming. :D

These are great Sean! I love checking to see if you have posted any new pieces, and these are wonderful as usual!

I also wanted to say it was great meeting you a couple weeks ago at Meltdown comics. (I was the girl who said I did you for my character design class) I am a huge fan of your work and it was awesome to actually meet you! And thanks for taking the time to talk with me and draw me Batman and Hellboy!

Hope to see you again at comic con!

I was watching your recent work, it kicks man! I love the pallete of colors that you use always. Helps to recognize your style, beside the perspectives and anatomy of course.
Im from mexico, my name is Daniel, im an ilustrator and kind of character designer too. If you can, check my blog, maybe you like my stuf too. hope!
Anyway, Im a big fan of your art, and my respects!, lots of talent here!
Cheers!

These are great. I wish your palette translated better to the final show, but the design is spot on! I like how everyone has a really distinct silhouette and instantly recognizable through their posture, etc. (which is reinforced by their character traits.)

man dude, your art rocks the house! You should do a "how to color" blog or something. Help us wannabe's out a bit. Peace!

Man awsome work as usual.
Are you gunna post a lineup of some of the minor charecters like Aunt May and Betty Brant and stuff?

ConfusedArtist said...

I feel cliche' telling you what an awesome artist you are, but I'll get over it. Your art just kinda' reduces me to a puddle. The colors, the geometry and the blatant personality of all your drawings! I mean I bet you, you could make a stick have personality.

So I was just wondering, how did you get artistically where you are today? Like, what college courses did you take? What art classes did you take? and (totally unrelated) How do you get such perfect curves on all your drawings?

I really appreciate your art, and it'd be a lie to tell you that you are why I started drawing, but you definately are one of the people keeping me drawing.

THANKS!
