JUDO CHOP to the dome and my 2011 art book cover roughs!

heh heh...

Here's some more exploratory designs I did of Miggy from my Gumshoes 4 Hire project.

Don't let her outside cuteness get the drop on ya other wise it's a JUDO CHOP to the noggin before ya know it!  :P

Also wanted to share with ya the roughs I just wrapped up for my 2011 art book wrap around cover.

Now i just need to pick a winner for the art book name game! I've widdled it down to the final handful... too many good ones... hahaha

Hope ya'll digs!

Love the character designs and the poses! Butt-kicking schoolgirls are always cool :).

The rough sketch of your cover looks fun. Are you keeping the line paper in the bg or is that just part of the roughness? It looks kind of cool that way.

Hello Mr. Galloway, I'm Simon, a French student in drawing of animation at Pivaut school in France. I discovered your work by an art teacher who made us do an exercise of characters from the amazing spiderman, we had to work our characters with curved lines that follow the movement of the raises, like your drawings. It's very interesting but very difficult. I send you this message because I saw that you really enjoy the incredibles and I just made a storyboard featuring Mr. Incredible by shopping at the supermarket with jack jack uncontrollable child, demanding candy. A funny sequence, not easy to achieve because it's Pixar, but still made me make good progress, I'd like your opinion on my work is always very rewarding, both to be able to make contact in drawing of animation. Thank you very much and soon I hope, anyway I am very appreciative of your work, and it gives desire to become a professional like you. My blog here http://nihonjinsim.blogspot.com/
