My first storyboards debut on G.I.Joe Renegades.

My first storyboards debut came out on the new G.I.Joe Renegades series. My section was from 7:09-8:35.

Loved the G.I.Joe Renegade designs by the ever so talented Clement Sauve.

After seeing how my G.I. Joe storyboards came out, I'm really stoked to see how my Scooby Doo storyboards came out since those will be my first boards ever.

This year I wanted to really challenge myself with different line of work, and boy-howdy did I ever.  Boarding a tough gig. I can't thank my directors enough for the opportunity(s).  Much props to all the storyboarders out there.  It takes a heckuva mindset to draw your sections.  Luckily, I was able to tackle a few pages of script here and there to ease into it.  It was a really nice challenge and a great way to get a taste of other avenues outside of just designing characters.

A little bit of Rock and Roll

Been awhile since I've been able to draw a pin-up.  Here's roughs of a little bit of "Rock and Roll" from MegaMan.  :) I'll be adding villains in this later.  Still not sure which ones I want to do just yet.  Too many awesome ones to pick from.  Any requests?

Hope y'all digs!

Still more to come! Have a Happy New Year, everyone! May it hold nothing but wonderful things for you and yours.

Happy Holidays from the Galloways

Ichiban asked me to draw our holiday card this year.  It doesn't get too cold here in LA, so we're not too bundled up here in the image.  :)

I gotta say, she's the cutest art director I ever had!  HAHAHA

Happy Holidays from us!

Still have Christmas shopping to do?

Waddup, gang.

I bet some of y'all have Christmas shopping to do still, right?  I've brought the price down on the Kuta Vinyls considerably.  Kuta vinyls are going @ $30 for the colored version and $45 for the grey version.

Images of the Kuta vinyl and ordering info can be found here if you're interested!

Street Fighter busts!!

Haven't had a whole lot of time for any personal drawing lately, so I had to make sure I did something from one of my childhood faves.  I guess What I'll do with this like the ugg muggs is keep updating this deviation as the new heads are done.

Sneak peak for Gumshoes 4 Hire and B7 environment panels

Holey smokes, is Caleb on fire. Here's more panels we collabed on for my Gumshoes 4 Hire property.

Golly, can he bust the eye candy.

And what the hey? More characters revealed?! Stay tuned!

Geez, if his kung-fu wasn't already mighty, right?!

The approach we were going for for these B7 backgrounds is a water color feel. Like Lilo and Stitch's approach but a little edgier I reckon? This is the route I'm thinking of pushing Bastion's 7.

After Caleb turned these in I was pretty much breathless... (and still am) He had me at "You got mail, kid!"

Like a kid running with scissors, I ran to Photoshop to test some of the characters on top to see if they pop and gel well.

We hope y'all digs!

Little Big Heads background concepts

Here's some backgrounds I did recently for my Little Big Heads IP.  I asked my pal Caleb Sawyer to smack down the color script magic on it, and boy howdy did he!

Little Big Heads' Orc in 3D!

Hey, gang... woke up to a pleasant surprise in my inbox this morning. My pal Joshua Singh :iconjoshsingh: hooked up the W.I.P. for my Orc character from my Little Big Heads property. I thought you all might get a kick out of seeing it.

We hope y'all digs!

V for Voltron

Wow... I haven't tried to tackle Voltron (one of my all-time child hood favorites), since I was in grade school.  He was always a challenge to draw, and now I remember why I steered away from it.  HAHAHA

One of the things that I wish Voltron could do was grapple more.  I always felt it was unfair to the villains that once the sword was formed, then the show was pretty much over.  HAHAHA

Here I thought it'd be cool to explore that the hands come out from the inside of the mouth, and then the top of the heads were for backslapping punks.  HAHAHAHAHAHA

Wrapping it up, this is a rough mock up for a Voltron pin-up I hope to finish in time for the Voltron art of book coming out next year.

Here's a line-up of the crew:

Save the dolphins!

I just watched a documentary, called The Cove.  It's about dolphins being slaughtered for food. We can help stop it and save them by texting DOLPHIN to 44144 or go to TakePart.com/TheCove

Itsy Bitsy...

... Critta Tykes!!!

HAHAHA  Here's another IP created late last year.

Wanted to draw some animals and creatures for a change.

Hope y'all digs!

19 August 2010

Monkey King!

Here's a pin-up I did for a magazine called "72".  The issue I drew it for was for their Monkey King tribute.  It hasn't come out yet,  but I believe it will within the next couple of months.

Also I figured you might be interested to see that I drew them separate. For some reason I LOVE drawing the whole body as it's own entity. I rough it all out together, and then I clean each element separate... I like to show the paper who's it's daddy. hahaha

A couple of peeps asked for a larger images, so I hope this version is big enough for your monitors.

Hope ya'll digs!

Mega-fool!

I jokes!

One of my all-time faves is Megaman...

But... but... but... What the frak is he holding onto?  Why's he smiling while doing so?!  Will wonders never cease?  Is it a handle to the unknown?  Hang on, boy-o!  Hang on for dear life why dontcha!!

HAHAHAH  Just a little fan art.

Hope y'all digs!

A Pig and Knife-Dude?!

hey, gang! What is the hippity-haps?

Just wanted to share with ya another more characters from my IP I created last year, called Little Big Heads. Yup, I know... the names are pretty simple, but ya know what? They're fun and to the point. hahaha

Stick around as the world and story unfolds!

This'll be the same format of a story as:

Gumshoes 4 Hire

Hey, gang.  I know there's gotta be one or 2 of ya still up, so I thought I'd give ya another sneak peek into another one of my creator owned properties called Gumshoes 4 Hire (intergalactic crimestoppers).  I've roughed out 56ish panels so far, and about 12 more panels to go to wrap up chapter 1 for it.

Some of you may recognize some of the goons getting away...more will be revealed later on down the line.  :)

Text is only temporary for your reading enjoyment.  Still trying to figure out how I'm going to handle it, so pull your punches. :)

Howdy howdy and some mo' howdy.  Hope y'all had a nice weekend and in doing so kicked that paper in the arse and thrashed it with awesome art!  hahaha
