Kuta sculpt on sale as of today!!! :)

RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN....IT'S AN ARMY OF KUTAS!!! Nobody's safe!!!!!!!!!

Like I promised, here's the update on my Kuta character. (Anyone know how to make gifs files play on here?)

The sculpt was based off of one of my designs for Bastion's 7 characters; Kuta, by the phenomenal Irene Matar: http://irenematar.blogspot.com/

The sculpts are close to 8 inches tall, give or take. ;)

Ok... here's the breakdown:

I am going to go about it 3 ways. There will be a limited run of resins for it; somewhere between 50-100 of those, but there may be a possibility to do more depending on the demand for it. They will be sold as kits for those of you that like to paint and assemble things yourselves.

As of today, the resins are on sale now, and if you're interested in owning a resin version it's going for $100, and shipping varies due to where you live.

Shipping rates:

Domestic:
Sculpt: $100.00 + Paypal fee: $3.20 + Domestic shipping: 10.35= $113.55

International:
Sculpt: $100.00 + Paypal fee: $3.20 + Domestic shipping: 20.35= $123.55

Ordering info: At the moment I can only receive payment through paypal for the resins. Payment can be sent to: cheeks_1974a@hotmail.com

This weekend (January 23-25), at the Phoenix Cactus Convention, I am making the statues available for purchase, and available for online purchases for those who can't make it to the cons. I'll only be bringing 8 with me to the con because I will also be selling my artbook "Spread the Cheeks" ($25 per book).

Vinyl info:
The mass production of the Kuta sculpt will be made into vinyl figures. Where it stands now is 1500 of them will be painted the regular colors that you all are familiar with, and the remaining 500 will be in gray scale as exclusives.

Unfortunately, no pre-orders will be taken yet for the vinyls.

Both versions of the vinyls (painted in it's regular colors and gray scale) will be available at the conventions and through online purchases for those who cannot make it to the cons. I'll update you when I get more info about the cost of it, ordering info, and when you can start placing your orders if you're interested.

Thank you everyone for your emails, and notes, and comments about Kuta. Your excitement and patience has been more than I could have ever imagined.

Much love to you all, and I hope y'all do that dig thang!

Looking great there, very slick.

also if you want to make the animated gif animate then host it somewhere like photobucket and paste the link to the host site where you would usually make a new blog posting and ...voila animated gif

These look great! Irene did an amazing job! Your work translates well to 3D. By the way what company are you using for the Vinyl figures?

The sculpt of your character came out awesome. It is always a treat to see your 2D creation come to life like in animation and product. I've really wanted to create vinyl figs of characters I've made. Can you give out any advise or let us in on the secret process to getting this done? Thanks for the inspirational art it keeps my pencil moving.
