...... started airing in Canada. Here are the links to the to the first episode (eps #14) With Mysterio as the villain of the week. :)
This is one of my favorite episodes. The story is fun and clever, animation is on model, the storyboards are breath taking, and the directing is top notch!!!
I thought you all might like to know since you've been asking for updates.

In other news:
I recently got recruited to be the regular cover artist for Boom Studios Incredibles' comic.
I am a HUGE fan of the Incredibles as I'm sure many many many of us are.
I suck at being on model, and thankfully I wasn't required to, but I still wanted to make sure I captured the resemblance and essence of the characters to the best of my capability.
Hope y'all digs!
awesomeness man! i like what you did with Bob.
ReplyDeleteCongrats bro! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteBig congratulations on the gig! That's great!
ReplyDeleteI hate to be critical (you know I love your stuff), but something seems a bit... "off" to me about the mom. A bit too masculine, I think. I dunno.
Can't wait to see your work on the stands again!
Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteMy two first thoughts:
"That looks great", shortly followed by "Elastigirl looks like a dude"
The added bulk on Dash's arms look great, as does the more muscular Mr Incredible. Awesome. It's much more fun to see someone's own take on existing characters, rather than having to stick to the model sheet.
ReplyDeleteThat is one fine looking cover. I really dig your style and the way you captured the whole family... it makes me want to buy this just for the cover.
ReplyDelete-->> leave it to Sean to make Bob ans the ' I ' s look frackin awesome !!

I agree with Pop-monkey and Grumpy Grunt, but still greeaaat or should i say "incredible design"!
ReplyDeletelove your work and watching the Spidey bit I realized your character's eyeballs always look fully dialated. makes 'em look like they're on something. . . it's just not natural, dad-gum-it!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing - keep 'em coming
Wow, what a sense of fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the comment on my blog Cheeks, your stuff is amazing.
ReplyDeletebetween this and the new x-men show, marvel has some really strong story artists. That episode of Spec. Spidey alone had some dizzying action sequences. i can tell they have some veterans in their ranks.
ReplyDeletenice designs too btw.
Hi,just wondering is The Art of Sean Galloway still available to buy online?
ReplyDeleteHonestly?
ReplyDeleteYou could do a better job with The Incredibles.
Not that it's bad, but, come on, it's Cheeks we're talking about!
The art's great, though I do agree with Pop-Monkey and Grumpy Grunt about Elasti-Man ... er, Girl.
ReplyDeleteReally cool!
ReplyDeleteWill you be posting the character designs of the other characters from the show? Like Mysterio, Kraven, etc.?
amazing blog man!
