I've been going down memory lane today having Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, the complete season, play in the background, while I was doing some work.
I love these guys, and I thought I'd give them a little bit of an update. :) Anyone remember the other members' names?
I figured I'd treat you by posting more roughs, since I get asked quite a bit to.
Other members? I think the only one you're missing is Brock, the floating fish.
Man, that was a weird show. Probably one of the most obvious examples of 1980s toy-marketing shows where the people designing the toys and the people writing the show had profoundly different ideas about the whole property.
Hi Sean.
ReplyDeleteAmazing drawing,as always!I really love your work.
Congrats.
haha...the little guys head looks like the character from that old video game, Dig Dug.
ReplyDeleteThere's a power that comes from deep inside of you,
ReplyDelete'Cause every day you're reaching toward the light,
I named my firstborn son after Jayce! But I spelled it Jace ahaha. Shhhh dont tell my wife...
Love ur Cheeks,
Jer

In 1999 I found a tape at the back of my parents' closet with 5 episodes of Wheeled Warriors. It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're only missing Brock.
This is so amazing, all the characters look so cool. Jayce was the best. I need to watch it again...did he ever find his father?
