HOWDY HOWDY! Here is my first animation I did last night. I have been really been getting into a rut just drawing 3/4 poses, so I thought I'd try to challenge myself a bit. I had a ton of fun, so I think I'll be doing more.

You can easily animate gif in adobe image ready. just click on the button at the bottom of your tools bar if you have that program. it will load your PSD.
ReplyDeleteGo up to the menu that says windows.
Click on animate.
then in the animation tool bar make the number of frames like you would your layers.
Go to each frame an turn on the "Layer" of the image you want to show in that frame.
you can then adgust the timing and be able to export it as an animated gif.

to correct myself....click on the button at the bottom of your tools bar in Photoshop. If you have the program it will convert the PSD you have you drawings on over to that program.

ReplyDeleteIs it supposed to move? I had trouble with blogger and animated gifs before . To get around it I upload the gif to my website and link that address in my blog instead of uploading to blogger.

ReplyDeleteOne way Sean is if you have Adobe After Effects or any other compositing software, load in the pictures frame by frame. Then spread them out according to the timing you want. Then Export(save as) as .gif image format. Remember, if you need help learning software of any kind, go to YouTube and I bet you anything you can find some video tutes. You can animate in PS as well, just look at the help menu and it well tell you probably what you need to know.

Hey Sean, you can just grab the image location on deviant art or myspace and use "www.whatevertheimagelocationis.com" and put it in <> and just put "img src=" in front of the location. Don't forget to put quotes around the image location. I tried to type it out, but it tried to use the html tags and it was causing an error. I think that'll work though.
