  4. Happy birthday Blaine-Quet! You are born into a world created by a super genius. Although as a "minion" you might find yourself on the end of an ass-kicking. Sorry B-Q... Happy birthday anyways!

Great stuff Cheeks... or should I say "Inspirationator"... or maybe "Inspirationatatron"... ... ...

  5. Amazing clean lines, and great colors too. Someone has probably asked this before, but what do you use in your clean-up, pencil? ink?

  10. heya gang! thanx for diggin the newbie to the B7 universe. don't let his cute looks fool ya. ;)

we got confirmation that loworbit, our antholgy with collected stories (including bastion's 7 in it) hits the stands january 24th. published through image comics.

after b7 makes it's debut in the anthology with it's wopping 6 pages hehe it will take form of it's own title. i have a european publisher interested, so i'll update ya when i get more info.

i get asked quite a bit about my technique from pencils to colors. here goes; i draw rough as hell, and then i lighttable it to do my final clean up version, and then i sscan it in and color all my images in photoshop. :)

my inspiration behind the character is flipping through a ton of books, and closing them, and going at it. :) color schemes come as i start lassoing. when i color i don't know exactly what i want until i do trial and error as i go.

thank you all again for stopping by to see what's going on in my noggin. happy new year!
