Teen Titans Go! issue 37 pages 1-2

Teen Titans Go! issue 37.

Came out 29 November 2006

I had a pretty brutal deadline with these pages. I did pencils to colors for all 20 pages in about a month and a half. I never wanna have that tight of a deadline again. I couldn't see straight after about the 16th hour into the day. I'm still recuperating. hahaha

  4. I picked it up, it still reads well mang, though you're right DC printed it a bit dark. Shame though because your colors on this one really stood head and shoulders above the book's usual interiors.

    Wait a minute,no I'm not... ... ...

AMAZING! I'm so freakin' stoked after seeing these pages. That is a crazy deadline. It's amazing how you are still so creative and are able to produce such great quality work. Not many people can do that. Not many people do do that (doodoo?).

Way to leave a legacy man...

    Now I'm speechless again... ... ...

    Hey Sean,

I picked it up this week. You're art's kick-ass! I just wish they printed it on better paper. They lose a little of the subtlety and crispness of your style. Still looks great, though.

    Cheers,
    Jason

    Wow.......

fantastic work. your draftsmanship is top notch and your colors do nothing but inhance the drawing (which seems to be a rarity in comics these days). do you ink your linework or are you working directly from the pencils?

book was excellent dood, can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.

  25. heya, all! thank you very much for the kind words! it's an honor to have you all drop by.

the new sketchbook comes out in january or february. they'll both be 40 pages and hardback.

i usually color over my lines, but in this case i inked my backgrounds, and kept the figures in pencils to save time, but that didn't help as much as i thought, so i had to also digiink the charcters when i got to page 3 on up. if i had more time i would have kept the pages the same quality as pages 1 and 2.

my creator owned project, bastion's 7, i'm hoping, will have better quality. i am going to try new things with the pages, and definitely push my standards bar.

    thanx again, y'all!!
